The annual Coaches Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 6 PM at the Aquatic Center in Clarkesville. We will meet in Room A. This meeting is for any COACH looking to head up a team this 2020 season. If you are a coach and cannot make it, please send one representative from your team to be there. We will discuss new changes, scheduling, rules, team fee, safety, and league format. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Annual "Swing for Shiflett" Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Registration begins at 8 AM with a 9 AM shotgun start at Apple Mountain Golf Club.

The format is a 4-man best ball (scramble), and the cost is $200 per team. Mulligans are available for purchase at $10/mulligan (limit 2 per player). There is a 50/50 closest to the pin.

For more information, contact Dusty McCollum at 706-969-8081, or contact the Apple Mountain Golf Course at 706-754-2255.

The event honors former Habersham County Church League umpire Mike Shiflett, who always had a great attitude and showed tremendous respect for others, showing us all how to conduct ourselves in a manner to honor Christ.

Calling all coaches who coached last year, or new coaches interested in starting a team in 2019.

There will be a coach's meeting on February 21 at 6:30 PM at the Habersham County Aquatic Center, Room A.

Details will be provided at the meeting, including season schedule, team fees, start date for the season, playoffs, etc.

Our hope is to open the season the last week of March and no later than the first week of April.

Also being discussed is the possibility of using a screen in the pitcher's circle, as the practice was used in fall tournaments.

If you are a coach and can't make it, please send a team representative or contact Kurt Warren so that we can get your team registered.

If you know of any other guys who are interested in having a team, let them know.
